THE FIRST PATIENT HANDLING EPILEPSY

First Treatment on Disease Epilepsy-Epilepsy or better known in the community with epilepsy is a disease that until now the exact cause is not known. But the disease is thought to be due to excess activity or stimulus to the neuron cells in the brain. This will cause a contraction of the muscles of the body, known as seizures.

This disease can recur anytime and anywhere without the typical symptoms caused shortly before relapse. Factors that can trigger epilepsy include taking medications such as negligence, lack of sleep, stress and alcohol consumption. Seizures can occur suddenly and can be fatal if not promptly receive treatment.

Here is the first treatment that can be performed on the patient's epilepsy relapse:

1 Stay calm and do not panic. Get rid of stuff around that can harm the patient. Do not move the patient unless the patient is in a precarious position
2 Do not insert anything into the patient's mouth like a spoon because it could hurt patients
3 Tilt the patient's head and body to one side in order to facilitate the patient's respiratory
4 Note the state of the patient such as facial and body movements during seizures. In addition it also count the length of time seizure.
5. When the seizure is over and the patient is unconscious, immediately take it to the hospital.

So do not be afraid when you see people with epilepsy who were relapse around you. Handling first you do on patients would be very useful to prevent unwanted things that can arise. Epilepsy can be cured with medication regularly and avoid originators factors such as stress and fatigue.
